How to build a simple business concept around a real product
You are not expected to arrive with a business idea. The LAB helps you develop one.
This Is Not a Business Course You Only Watch.
It is an applied entrepreneurship lab.
You will follow a real imported product, learn how the business system around it works, handle and study premium roses, develop your own concept, and practice taking that concept toward the market.
Then three simple blocks:
LEARN
Understand the product, the supply chain, and the business system behind it.
CREATE
Develop a business, fundraiser, event, wellness experience, brand, or product concept of your own.
PRE-SELL
Learn how to test demand and generate early sales before committing to larger inventory.
The 4 Weeks
WEEK 1 — SEE THE SYSTEM
Understand the rose as a product and the global system behind it.
Learn about breeding, agriculture, quality, product handling, customer value, and the different businesses involved between farm and final customer.
Project: Product Systems Map
WEEK 2 — MOVE THE PRODUCT
Learn how products move internationally.
Explore sourcing, supplier relationships, Incoterms®, cold-chain logistics, freight, customs, documentation, quality control, costs, and risk.
Project: Import Blueprint
WEEK 3 — CREATE THE MARKET
Turn the product into an offer.
Learn branding, positioning, pricing, storytelling, customer identification, sales channels, marketing, and pre-sales.
Project: Go-to-Market Concept
WEEK 4 — BUILD SOMETHING REAL
Put the pieces together.
Depending on your concept, you may develop a rose pre-sale, fundraiser, pop-up, wellness experience, gifting concept, educational idea, or another entrepreneurial project.
Project: Final Concept + Launch Plan
Learn the Product With Your Hands
You won't only study the rose on a screen.
Depending on the LAB format, participants learn how premium roses are handled, conditioned, observed, cared for, presented, and transformed into a customer experience.
That connects agriculture and logistics to the final product.
Your Project Does Not Have to Be About Roses.
This is a big selling point.
The rose is the case study and learning vehicle.
What you learn can be applied to:
consumer products
food
beauty
fashion
agriculture
events
fundraising
education
wellness
international sourcing
or a business idea of your own.
Built From a Real International Business
Rose Import LAB™ is based on real field research, producer relationships, supply-chain observation, product testing, and the ongoing development of Rose Import LLC.
The lessons come from actual questions entrepreneurs face:
Where do we source?
What does it cost?
How do we import it?
Who will buy it?
How should we position it?
Can we sell it before ordering more?
Who Is the LAB For?
Aspiring entrepreneurs who want a practical introduction to building a business.
Students and young adults who want to understand how business works beyond textbooks.
Career pivoters exploring entrepreneurship or international trade.
Educators looking for a real-world multidisciplinary learning model.
Rose and flower enthusiasts interested in understanding the industry behind the product.
You Can Read About Business.
Or You Can Build Something.
4 Weeks. One Real Product. Your Own Concept.
In this 4-week founding cohort, you will learn how global trade actually works by following a real rose import operation from Colombia to the U.S. — and building your own import concept alongside it. You get all weekly materials, an optional live Q&A every week, direct feedback from the founder, and a small founding group building this together. All materials and downloads are yours to keep.
