  • How to organize pick up or delivery

  • How to avoid common fundraising mistakes

The training is simple, practical and designed for:

  • Homeschool groups

Step 2 — Pre-Sell Roses

Instead of buying inventory first and hoping people purchase later, groups collect orders before the roses arrive.

This reduces waste and lowers risk.

Participants learn:

  • How to approach customers

  • How to explain the fundraiser

  • How to create urgency

  • How to communicate quality

  • How to connect story with product

Step 3— Rose Distribution Day

One pre-orders are complete roses are prepared and distributed locally through the fundraiser system.

Groups can:

  • Organize pickup events

  • Distribute locally

  • Partner with local businesses

  • Create team delivery days

  • Package roses with notes and branded cards

The experience becomes more than a fundraiser, it becomes a real world learning project.

Students do not just “sell flowers.”

They learn:

  • how products move through systems

  • how presentation changes perception

  • how pre-sales work

  • how premium products are positioned

  • how emotional connection influences buying behavior

  • how logistics and timing matter

  • how to communicate value

And then they apply it in real life through a guided rose fundraiser.

Why Roses?

A premium rose is emotionally different from most fundraising products.

People buy roses because they:

  • Feel beautiful

  • Create emotional response

  • Feel meaningful to give

  • Feel luxurious

  • Create connection

The fundraising becomes easier because the product already carries emotional value.

And students begin to learning something deeper too: how products, perception, emotion, and presentation all interact together.

Beyond Fundraising

This is not only about raising money. It is about helping students experience:

  • Communication

  • Systems thinking

  • Product positioning

  • Logistics

  • Emotional intelligence

  • Entrepreneurship

  • Observation

  • Teamwork

  • Presentation

  • Global trade

Beginning with something as simple as rose.

Example Fundraises Economics

Example:

  • Team sells 100 roses

  • Rose price to customer: $20

  • Approximate fundraising profit: $1,000+

Higher-end premium roses can increase margins further depending on market and presentation.
