Fundraising With Garden Roses

The Rose Import LAB™ program for teams, schools, and community organizations.

Most fundraisers sell products nobody wants — cookie dough, wrapping paper, discount cards. Yours can sell something people already love.

Rose Import LAB™ Fundraising is a short training that teaches your group to run a premium rose fundraiser using pre-orders, storytelling, and real-world sales skills. Your group keeps the profit — and learns how business actually works along the way.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1 — Take the Short Course

Your team leader receives access to a short online training (about 4 hours, self-paced) covering:

  • How the fundraiser works

  • How to pre-sell roses before any inventory arrives

  • How to present a premium product

  • How to tell the story behind the roses — and your team

  • How to organize pickup or delivery

  • How to avoid the most common fundraising mistakes

Designed for homeschool groups, sports teams, dance programs, wellness communities, youth organizations, clubs, and parent-led groups.

Step 2 — Pre-Sell Roses

Instead of buying inventory and hoping people purchase later, your group collects orders first. Less waste, lower risk, no upfront inventory cost.

Participants learn how to approach customers, explain the fundraiser, communicate quality, and connect story with product.

Step 3 — Rose Distribution Day

Once pre-orders are complete, roses are prepared and distributed locally. Groups organize pickup events, team delivery days, or partnerships with local businesses — and package each rose with notes and branded cards.

It's more than a fundraiser. It's a real-world learning project.

WHAT STUDENTS ACTUALLY LEARN

Students don't just sell flowers. They learn:

  • How products move through global systems

  • How pre-sales and premium positioning work

  • How presentation changes perception

  • How emotional connection influences buying

  • How logistics and timing matter

  • How to communicate value with confidence

Every Rose Import LAB™ fundraising rose includes educational content for the buyer — they learn about the roses and about your organization. The goal is a lasting relationship with your supporters, not a one-time sale.

THE ECONOMICS

  • Approximate profit to your group: $1,000+

Higher-end premium roses can increase margins further depending on your market and presentation.

WHY ROSES?

A premium rose is emotionally different from most fundraising products. People buy roses because they feel beautiful, meaningful to give, and luxurious. The product already carries emotional value — which makes the fundraiser easier, and teaches students something deeper: how product, perception, emotion, and presentation interact.
