WHY ROSES?

More than 65% of roses sold in the United States are grown in Colombia, yet most consumers never see the journey behind them or the people whose work makes them possible.

Rose Import LAB™ was created to make those connections visible. Through a single rose, members gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world, global commerce, and the intricate networks that connect farms, businesses, and communities across continents.

Hi, I'm Heidi.

Rose Import LAB™ began with a simple question:

How can one rose teach us something about the world?

What started as curiosity about the global flower trade became a journey through farms, supply chains, sustainability initiatives, wellness practices, and international business relationships.

Along the way, I discovered that a rose is much more than a flower. It is a connection between people, cultures, industries, and communities across continents.

My hope is that every rose becomes an opportunity to slow down, observe more closely, learn something new, and develop a deeper appreciation for the remarkable networks that connect our world.
